Support & Returns
Under the Act, 'Distance Buying' when purchasing over the internet the consumer is entitled to a 'Cooling Off Period' of 14 days after delivery of the product. Within this period a product can be returned without giving any reason.
When claiming the rights of withdrawal certain rules apply. During the period the customer is responisble for the care of the product and packaging. The customer can only unpack the product to the degree neccessary to be able to assess whether he wishes to retain the product. If he wishes to make use of the Right Of Withdrawal then he must return the delivered product with all the accesorries and in its original condition which includes the packaging on return. Products that are damaged, incomplete used or have damaged packaging may be refused refund.
the cost and risk of the return process is entirely on the customer's account. The supplier is required to repay the amounts paid by the consumer within 30 days of receiving the product back.
Look at: European Consumer Center for more information about the right of withdrawal. To use your right of withdrawal, Komplett gives you 14 days time to submit an RMA request. This time starts on the day you receive the product in question
Be aware that the right of withdrawal does not apply to business customers of Komplett. Please create a personal account when you wish to order for personall use and qualify for the Right Of Withdrawal.
Before your Order is Shipped
Check the status of your last order on your Account page.If the order is still open, you can contact the customer service department. If a particular article should be removed from your order, please also contact service@komplett.ie. If the order has been picked or shipped, then it is too late to cancel the order and you will have to get a RMA number and return the product under Cooling Off.
Once Your Order is Shipped
If you received your goods, please fill in this online form for an RMA number. Complete the form and you can immediately send it off to the right department. We can process your RMA request faster this way. You will then receive an RMA number which you must clearly indicate on the outside of the returns parcel (which the returned products are in). You only pay the return postage. The price you paid for the product is the amount credited to you once we have received your parcel. You will be refunded by bank transfer to your bank account. Please also make note that you have to submit this information.
You can return under cooling off if:
- If you have created a personal account.
- You have not used the product only briefly tested.
- No visible damage to the product or any obvious signs of use are visible
- The product and all the parts belonging to it are returned in the state of which it was shipped.
Special cases where you do not have the right to cooling off:
- Products made / assembled to your won personal specifications.
- Sealed audio or video recordings or computer software you have opened.
We will credit a reduced amount if:
- Products are damaged by user or during transport back to us.
- The retail product has damaged packing (can not be sold as new)
- Missing components (manuals, cables, adapters, etc) on return.
If you refuse your order or don't explicitly state that you want to use Cooling off withen the stipulated period, it is impossible for us to determine why your order has not been collect. In such cases you will not only be charged for your order, but also for any additional costs we incur in connection with the transaction. Be aware that by laws and regulations you are required for you to actively inform if you wish to return the product within the agreed period of retrun. The returned product must be in the same condition as when the parcel left our warehouse.
Always make sure that you accept your order at the door and / or retrieve it from your local postage depot, even if you want to use Cooling Off. If you do not, then the cost of this consignment may be forced on to you.

We have a DOA (Dead on Arrival) period of 7 days. This means that if in the first seven days immediately after receipt / collection if the product you purchased is defective and you have notified Komplett within those 7 days, our returns department will replace your product with a new single product. However a faulty product must be returned to us 14 days at the latest after the RMA has been issued. Any shipping costs for returning the product may be subsequently refunded under the same conditions as stated in the Cost Of Return section. After the DOA period, standard warranty terms apply.
Please note that if the DOA is setup via email, please always try send a digital photo of the damage and the serial number.

All hardware and software in our catalog are covered by the manufacturer's warranties. This means you are entitled to the warranty that the manufacturer has determined for the product. Each warranty is specific to each individual product. The warratny time is available either from the manufacturer's website or on the product page at Komplett. In the grey bar directly below the product image you will find exactly how many months warranty are offered for that product.
If you have any questions or would like to claim warranty, you can do this in two ways:
- Fill in this online form to request an RMA number to return your product. Based on your description of the fault we will setup an RMA (return) for the product and ask you to return it to us. After an initial inspection and test by our technical department, we will repair your product if possible. If we are unable to repair the product, the product will be sent to the manufacturer or and independant repair service for repair.
- You can also contact the manufacturer directlywithout any contact with Komplett. Not only will you save time but in certain cases the manufacturer may offer a direct replacement or offer a free pick-up service.
Costs of Repairs
If covered within the warranty there are no handling charges for the repair. If the defect is not within the warranty scheme, eg where there is a fall/impact or water damage, improper use or that the product is outside the manufacturer's warranty, we will send you a quotation for the repair. You can choose whether you agree with the repair (at the specified amount) or refrain from further settlement. In the latter case, your product will be sent back to you with a bill for any research and / or transport costs.
Replacement
We offer a wide range of products. It is impossible for us to have replacement products available. In the case of repair, we are therefore unable to provide you with a replacement product. However, in many cases the manufacturer offers the possibilty of a repair or replacement. This can only happen if you make the repairs directly with the manufacturer.

You can return a product to Komplett when there is:
- Right Of Withdrawal (Cooling Off)
- Komplett delivered the wrong product
- A product that is DOA (Dead on Arrival)
- A repair or replacement while within the applicable warranty period
Before you wish to return a product to us, please first fill in this online return form . Your RMA number is valid for 14 days after receipt. Only consumers / end users may use the "right of withdrawal. Any credit for products returned that are covered by the right of withdrawal, applies only to the value of the product, not the (return) shipping. These are borne by the buyer.
- NOTE: Computer components sensitive to electrostatic charges must be packed in an anti-static packaging for warranty coverage!
- Pack the product securely with resilient materials(original packing preferred) and be sure to add all accessories and components.
- In the case of "Dead On Arrival", the same product has to be returned as it was shipped, including original packaging and all accessories.
- Add the RMA confirmation email with the parcel.
- Clearly indicate the RMA number you received from us on the outside of the package, ONLY on the address label, not the packaging.
- The returns are at your cost and risk to sen to our Returns Department (RMA Department). The return back to you will be sent on behalf of Komplett.
- After inspection and testing or repairs we will send a replacement or your product back, at Komplett's discretion.
- We will send you an order confirmation and send confirmation when your product repaired or replaced.
- Products returned under the right of withdrawal, must be inspected or tested on arrival at our warehouse. If the conditions are met for the credit, you will be credited back . The credit must be deposited into your bank account. Make sure you add your bank account number and sort code with the return!
- We will refund the AnPost parcel shipping cost for returning faulty items under warranty, provided the claim is accompanied by a valid receipt.
- Deliveries without RMA number will clearly require special treatment for us to track and the processing will be significantly delayed.

Our warranties are offered on a carry-in basis. This means that all products for repair must be returned to us and that we do not offer repair at one's home address.
The shipping and the risk of sending the product to our office is charged to the customer. The cost for returning a product, is only on the behalf of Komplett if:
- A DOA (Dead On Arrival) product
- The wrong item was supplied by Komplett
Of course you can also issue returns to one of our pickup points. There are no extra charges.
Note: All returns must be shipped postage prepaid and carefully and securely packaged. If there is a DOA or incorrectly shipped product by Komplett then pay the shipping costs based on the cheapest option in order for a postage refund. Packages that do not or insufficiently packed, are always denied. Please contact in advance our Customer Sevice before you return anything to us. Our customer service will provide you with the necessary information and return documents.

If you have ordered payment on delivery, only then can Komplett credit (refund) directly to your bank account. We will require your details during the RMA process which you will be asked to provide.
Payment On Delivery
Credit (refund) on account of your choice. Please indicate the name of your bank, bank account number and sort code in the RMA request.

If there is a defective product that falls under the existing warranty schemes you as a consumer can choose to send your product directly, without intervention from Komplett, to the manufacturer to handle. Our warranties are offered from the Manufacturers directly, and in certain cases they not only often offer a pick-up service but also have many specific procedures for requesting technical support and / or the return of defective products.
