Payment At Komplett
Komplett offers a secure way to pay with VISA and MasterCard.
Paying by credit card is a popular and very easy way to purchase online. It is also important to know that Komplett have no transaction charges, while many other providers do.
How do you pay by credit card?
- For credit card payments we use an external service: Ogone
- As soon as you've confirmed your order in the checkout you'll be redirected to Ogone's secure webiste. Here you'll need to enter all necessary details.
- When payment is confirmed you'll be directed back to our website where your order will be processed.
3-D Secure and SecureCode
Through the use of 3-D and SecureCode paying by Credit Card is safe. 3-D Secure and SecureCodeare setup to make pauyment on the internet as safe as possible. The 3D-Secure technology was developed by Visa and is offered under the brand name Verified by Visa. Under the label SecureCode, Mastercard also offers this standard. 3-D Secure and SecureCode are an extra step when placing your order to ensure your safety. You will be protected against abuse of your credit card number because your identity is confirmed before payment.
How Does It Work?
Your card is not activated for standard 3-D Secure or Secure Code. You may be asked for 3-D Secure to activate your card. Finally, for each online verification of your credit card, a digital signature is always required. This code is then immediately checked by your own bank.
There are a number of variants of the digital signature, depending on your bank. It may be a self-chosen password, a PIN provided by your bank, but you may also be asked to make a digital signature using a Digipass or random reader.

You can also pay when picking your order up from our Pick Up Point ujust outside of Blanchardstown, Dublin. We accept Maestro, Visa, Mastercard and Laser.
It is NOT possible to pay by cash!
Attention! For your own safety a PIN code must be entered and accepted when paying for your order. If you have forgotten or do not know your PIN, we cannot process the transaction.

Komplett is obliged to charge 21% VAT to its customers in the Ireland, for both businesses or personal accounts.
VAT Number: IE9991174T

Prepayment
Unfortunately, at this time we are unable to offer payment in advance at Komplett. Prepayment would delay the shipment to you. Your money will be on our account, and resulting in you losing days of interest in addition to you having limited freedom of action if shipments should be delayed to or from us
Cheques
We are unable to offer payment with cheque unless you have a credit agreement with us, as this contributes to delays. Therefore, this solution is not highly prioritised with us.
Gift Vouchers
We are also unable to offer payment with gift certificates at this time, but hope to have this option available in the future

Waste from Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE)
Waste from electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) has been identified as a priority waste stream by the European Commission due to its potentially hazardous nature, the consumption of resources used during the manufacture of electrical and electronic equipment and the expected WEEE growth rates.
Prior to the introduction of the WEEE Regulations 2005 much of the electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) in Ireland was disposed of in the municipal waste stream directly to landfill. This is not an ideal solution as WEEE can contain harmful substances that could cause problems to human health and the environment if not treated properly on disposal. In addition production of EEE involves non renewable energy and raw material resources which cannot be recovered if WEEE is disposed of indiscriminately. The WEEE Directive aims to reduce quantities of WEEE disposed of to landfill and reduce the harmful effects caused by WEEE on health and the environment whilst conserving natural resources.
Product Recycling Fund (PRF)
One of the directives is the introduction of the Product Recycling Fund and is used to fund the recycling, processing and safe disposal of old electronic equipment.
The amount corresponds to the cost of recycling for an end-of-life product and is entirely given to the compliance scheme for waste from electrical and electronic equipment in charge of recycling the end-of-life product. The amount may vary mostly depending on the category. Other factors are taken into account to determine the volume of material that can be recycled (weight, capacity of a fridge, size of a TV screen for instance).
All products on the Komplett.ie website that are subject to this environmental management cost will systematically show three distinct prices: the product price, the Producer Recycling Fund cost (PRF) and the total price (see example below)
For a complete overview of the costs and descriptions of these costs, please consult the Category listing WEEE
Recyclable-Waste
This selective collection will ensure the recycling of current products on the market once they reach the end-of-life stage. Local authorities may offer a free collection service for unwanted objects. For more information about removal services or areas where products can be brought to in their local area, please contact your local authority
Komplett can collect like-for-like items free of charge under the WEEE directive. Please
contact us when the delivery of your WEEE item has been delivered (within 15 days), so we can arrange a collection of the WEEE item. We can also now accept your WEEE items at our
Pick Up Point in Blanchardstown Dublin. We also pay an annual fee to ensure that the necessary facilities are available for the disposal of the item.
Return WEEE to Komplett

At Komplett we make sure our payment systems meet the strict safety standards of the Visa and Mastercard "Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). This standard has very strict and detailed requirements for everything and requires that we have physical locks on our server to encrypt the Web pages where credit card information is entered.
The 12 key requirements are:
- Install and maintain a firewall configuration to protect data
- Do not use vendor-supplied defaults for passwords or other security parameters
- Protect stored data
- Encrypt the transmission of cardholder data and sensitive information
- Use and regularly update anti-virus software
- Develop and maintain securer systems and applications
- Restrict access to data by business need-to-know
- Assign a unique ID to each person with computer access
- Restrict physical access to cardholder data
- Track and monitor all access to network resources and cardholder data

More information can be found at: http://www.visaeurope.com/aboutvisa/.
We go beyond the requirements of the PCI DSS and require that every credit card authorization is protected with the Verified by Visa/MasterCard SecureCode authentication schemes. This ensures that the person using a credit card actually is the person he claims to be. This protects you from having your credit card misused at our web shop and protects us from fraudulent transactions.
All transfer of sensitive information in the checkout and account pages is protected with https/SSL 128-bit encryption when you shop at Komplett. We at Komplett have a sincere wish to protect you, our valued customer
