2009-02-11Reviewer: Tom KeatingBought two of these cards from Komplett and collected from pickup point. Great service, thanks.
Both cards replaced a 8800 GTS 320MB card I had. Set up was very simple. Both cards are now running without any issues with my 620w power supply. Set up in a Crossfire configuration, which was also simple. One word of advice, don't use the drivers on the CD that comes with the card(s), they are out of date, goto the AMD.ATI drivers site and download the latest.
I had a few issues getting the drivers sorted on my Vista 32bit but that was more to do with my setup and vista than the drivers and cards. I now run games like Fallout 3, FEAR, Crysis Warhead on max resolution and am getting 30fps which is great!
Overall I would recommend this card and ideally two of them due to the price and performance you get. It is the best value graphics upgrade to any system that supports CrossFire.
