The TWIN2X2048-6400 is a 2 GByte matched pair of DDR2 SDRAM DIMMs. This part delivers outstanding performance in the latest generation of DDR2-based motherboards. 2007-12-24Reviewer: Steven McNamaraRunning 2 sets of this RAM in Vista Ultimate x64. My computer's overclocked and have the RAM pushed with a higher than default voltage because of that, and while the surface gets hot, it's simply the heat disperser doing its job. Pushing it at 4-4-4-12 timing at 800 MHz (1:1 ratio with fsb) without a problem. 5.9 in Vista's rating scheme. Highly recommended for people who don't have a lot of money to spend but still want great performance.

2007-09-08Reviewer: Jason Edward O' DonoghueGreat memory, I bought 2Gb with a bundle, and a further 2Gb just for kicks. This isnt specific to Corsair, but one shoud note that using a 32Bit O.S. the maximum memory is 4Gb OVERALL, so if you have a graphics card installed, the total amount of RAM will be lower than 4Gb.
I.e. I have a 768Mb GPU and 4Gb's of this RAM, however my 32Bit O.S. (Vista Ultimate) will only support 3325Mb of (my 4Gb) RAM. 4096Mb -768Mb (GPU) = 3325Mb approx...
This is the case with all 32Bit O.S.'s, otherwise good RAM and I get a 5.4 Vista Rating with 4Gb (3325Mb)
